Born out of necessity. Designed for the unexpected.
In the field, there’s no time for guesswork. The Combat Midwife™ OB Kit was conceived during military medic courses when my students asked, “How do we deliver a baby without the right tools?” I assured them that, with the right knowledge, they already had most of what they needed. But when class ended, we got creative—dumping aid bags, repurposing supplies, and piecing together makeshift birth kits over a few adult root beers.
I took that same no-nonsense, field-tested approach back to my own midwife bag—stripping it down to the bare essentials needed to safely catch a baby in any environment, from the battlefield to the backcountry. The result? The Combat Midwife™ OB Kit.
