The Perinatal Health Coalition is a division of RESPITE the System, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Our mission is to drive transformative change through independent, trauma informed research, comprehensive education, and holistic support. By integrating evidence based practices and fostering collaboration across diverse care systems, we work to prevent systemic failures, reduce adverse outcomes, and promote individual well being while building trauma informed communities.
Our vision is to build a future where trauma-informed care is the foundation of healthy, thriving communities. Through our initiatives in research, education, and support, we aspire to create integrated, holistic systems of care that empower both families and professionals. The Perinatal Health Coalition will foster resilience, reduce trauma, and prevent poor outcomes throughout the lifespan.

New Hampshire Maternal Health Conference, Training & Marketplace
Day 1 - Family Care When Systems Fail
A hands on, accessible training designed for the public, preppers, doulas, and families without medical credentials. Day One focuses on what everyday people can safely do to support women and children when systems are unavailable or delayed. Topics include menstrual and reproductive health, birth and postpartum support, recognizing emergencies, and knowing when and how to seek help.
Day 2- Maternal Health Bazaar
A community centered day connecting families directly with care, resources, and support. The Bazaar features a curated marketplace of midwives, doulas, educators, makers, nonprofits, and service providers. Attendees can explore vendors, discover new brands, access resources, and participate in brand giveaways while building meaningful community connections.
Day 3 - Perinatal Health for EMTs
A skills focused training designed for emergency medical professionals responding to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum situations in the field. Day Three covers assessment, communication, decision making, and response to common and high risk perinatal scenarios, with emphasis on real world conditions, transport challenges, and collaboration with families and providers.
